For sealing polythylene, vinyls, PVC and similar thermoplastic material of upto 1000 gauge (250 micron), various plastic coated papers and foils.
WHY BANDS?
Seals are made as the bag top, transported by the continuously moving bands, passes between pairs of heater bars adn cooling bars (air cooled). Bands also protect the plastic bags from actual contact with the heating and cooling bars.
MOTOR DRIVEN - Combination portable and fused style
Designed for closing plastic bags, this unique device combines the effects of heat, pressure and cooling, to offer the many advantages of continuous band sealing.
POSITIVE CLOSURE
Continuously moving Teflon coated stainless steel bands support the film or bag top under moderate pressure through the complete sealing cycle - heating and cooling.
CONTROLLED TEMPERATURE
Sealing temperature is closely controlled by a thermostate; pilot light indicates when the required temperature is reached.
ACCURATE PRESSURE
Flexible heating and cooling bars accommodate sealing to various thickness of material. Pressure can also be adjusted manually.
CONTINUOUS SEALING
Motor driven continuous band principle guarantees accurate and mechanically controlled dwell time - features required for high quality sealing.
PORTABILITY
All units furnished with carrying handle with power supply cord.
For bags containing more than a few grammes manual support (or convey or when practical) may be required.
